As Carly is drawn into his Shifter world, she risks everything she has for that forbidden something she still wants: passionate love.

MY REVIEW

Another great addition to the series.

We have met Tiger when Iona saved him from the research facility in a previous book.

Tiger is currently living with the Austin shifters trying to figure out his place. Since he was created by scientists and not fae he is having problem adapted to the shifters society. The main differences are the following:

-He does not really understand the point of being an Alpha shifter. Since he is stronger than everyone else in shifter town, he does not understand why shifters are showing teeth to each other in order to establish their superiority.

-He does not recognise Liam as a leader. He appreciates the fact that someone needs to make the decisions, but he is not really afraid of Liam. He is just being nice and polite to him.

-He has special powers that shifters don't have. He is highly resistant to bullets and fire.

-With strong sense of smell. Much stronger from the other shifters. He can detect lies and pregnancies in their beginning.

-He cannot survive real collars, which is normal since they contain fae magic and he was not created by fae.

Is Carly enough for this "unique, amazing, smarter than anyone whould ever understand" guy? To be honest I was not entirely convinced... but he seemed happy with her. So I am somehow ok with her being his mate.

In this book we also see a slight change in the behaviour of people towards shifters. 'Normal' people seem to be friendlier to shifter towards the end of the book. No idea if this will last, but it is nice.
