MY REVIEW

Jacques Dubrinsky and Shea O'Halloran

He was a creature of the night. The dark was his home. Yet now, in his agony, it was his enemy. There was only pain and silence. Always before, he was the one who chose whether to stay in the darkness, in the healing soil. Now he was a prisoner, locked away, with the soil just out of reach. Comfort should have been his, was near, yet always the wood of the coffin prevented his body from touching what would eventually have healed his wounds.

Love, love, love it!

The epitome of decadence vampire romance.

Shea is drawn to the Carpathian mountains answering the summons of a complete stranger who has invaded her dreams. This stranger is in torment and he hungers endlessly.

Jacques is almost crazy with pain and hunger. He is imprisoned inside the earth by vampire hunters. He has survived only by using the blood of rats . Nobody looks for him because the other Carpathians think that he is dead.
He only thinks of a woman. His madness make him believe that she accountable for his imprisonment and she is also responsible for not letting him out. He calls for her for years, but only recently he feels that she will come for him.

When the woman meets the wounded monster of her dreams, she will realise that maybe she is not just human herself.

You know, you are my lifemate.
Her eyes widened in surprise. "Lifemate? You - you think we know one another? I've never met you before in my life."

In this book, we also have the start of the story for ....
...Raven (Dark 1) is pregnant and it's a girl who will almost die. Gregori, the Dark One, will save her and she will be his lifemate later on.
