Swept Away (Anna Zaires)
SUMMARY
When Delia sees the naked man emerging from the stormy sea, she knows he must be more than human. Gorgeous and powerful, the god-like stranger saves her from certain death, but his rescue comes at a price: herself.
Swept Away is about the start of Arus & Delia’s relationship in Ancient Greece.
It can be read as a standalone or after the Krinar Chronicles trilogy.
MY REVIEW
Somewhere in Ancient Greece, a long long time ago, an unearthly handsome Greek God emerges from the sea. Arus saves Delia from the storm and their love story begins.
A few misunderstandings between them:
-Delia wants to sacrifices a goat for him, Arus is a vegetarian.
-Her village is on the west, he takes her to the east.
-She thinks he is God, he is just a Krinar who has been swimming.
It is really funny that Arus makes Delia believe that she has the choice of not following him. I am sure everyone can realize that he would have never let her go.
The rest of their story and their HEA can be found between lines in Close Obsession and Close Remembrance (The Krinar Chronicles II and III).

The X-Club (Anna Zaires)
SUMMARY
A young journalist. An alien sex club. A Krinar who won’t take no for an answer.
Amy Myers is tired of writing fluff. She wants to work on serious assignments—and what better way to prove herself than to uncover something new about the mysterious Krinar, the aliens who took over the Earth just two years earlier? But when she meets Vair, the dark and sexy owner of a Manhattan x-club, she may get more than she bargained for...
The X-Club is set in the world of the Krinar Chronicles about three years before Mia & Korum’s trilogy. It’s an erotic story, not a romance.
It can be read as a standalone or after the Krinar Chronicles trilogy.
MY REVIEW
Amy is a young journalist who is just asking for trouble. Together with her friend Jay decide to visit an X-club, 'X' for 'xenos' where Krinar use to go to hook up and dance with other Krinars and humans Krinar lovers. Her main objective is to write an article about Krinars but she ends up in the arms of the possessive Vair instead.
The book can be an interested introduction in the story of earth after Krinar invasion.
Or it is also enjoyable if you already have read the 'close liason' trilogy and you have got addicted to this world like I did.
By the end of this book, I felt that there was more to come in the story of Amy and Vair. Like it was the start and not the end of their story. I wish the book was longer and more complete.
