“The Breed princess wants to see what it’s like to get down and dirty for a change?”
The bad boy who wants to crumple the perfect princess and then to set her finally free.
“Cassie, aren’t you tired of playing the perfect little Breed princess?” he asked as she passed him. “Haven’t you gotten sick of being a good girl all the time? You’re not human. You can’t keep pretending you are.”
Coyotes have always been the outcasts of the Breeds.
You must not dare a coyote.
You must not trust a coyote.
Cassie dared her future mate several times. And when the crucial time arrived, she trusted him.
So, before the First Chapter finishes, she will be mated and thunderstruck.
“You lied to me.”
And not even her Alpha Breed Wolf stepfather, Dash Sinclair, can save her.
“I love you, Cassie,” he said gently. “And I’ll do whatever necessary to protect you. Even from your mate.”
Besides the unavoidable and very welcome mating, we will also learn:
1. What were the voices that Cassie was hearing when she was a kid
2. That the monstrosities of the Council have never really stopped.
Hardcore fans have been waiting for about 15 years for Cassie's story and I am happy to say that they won't be disappointed.
The author wrote this story with so much love and devotion to her characters. This was definitely not just an obligation fulfilled, but a solid satisfying story.
Besides the two main characters, many more characters from the previous books appear in the book with either small or lengthier roles.
For example:
Prime and Prima Lyons, Lupine and Lupina Gunnar, Coy and Coya Delgado, Jonas Wyatt, Dash and Elizabeth Sinclair, Mongrel and Mutt, Drs. Armani and Sobolova and so many others!
Like a party that everyone is invited.
So...yes...
32!!! Breed stories so far and the series still goes strong.
Concluding, I am a very happy girl now (still my mind and my heart is somewhere in Breeds universe and I suppose it will still be there for many more days) and I hope that you will enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed it.
“You carry my soul,” he whispered as she felt exhaustion dragging her down. “My sweet, beautiful little halfling, you’re all that’s good inside me.”
