Kiowa is the bodyguard for the president's daughter, Amanda. Amanda does not know that he is watching her and protecting her. Thus, when one day he kidnaps her trying to protect her, she thinks he wants to harm her. Kiowa unable to resist, he kisses the tied up Amanda and the mating heat kicks in. But they stop.

Kiowa and his assistants are trying to drive Amanda to the Feline’s base to protect her. The whole story after that is hot mess. Both of them are trying to resist their attraction. Amanda admits she is a virgin and Kiowa makes sure she stops being one and not in a very gentle way. Steamy scenes at the back seat of the car, both of them not minding there is audience. Dash Sinclair on the phone keeps shouting they need to stop touching each other and be patient until they reach the base. The other passengers rushing out of the car, leaving them alone. Of course no stopping after that.

Things will NOT get better when they reach the Virginia mountains and the base. Even before they open the door of their cabin, they are ripping each other clothes.

I think this is one of the hottest, steamiest books in the Breeds series and definitely funny at times.

Other things worth mentioned about this book:
-This is the first book about Coyote Breeds (the lowest of the Breeds).
-A new Breed law which will protect Breeds is under voting.
- Animals that have been brought in the surrounding forests, protect the compound.
-Cassie still as a child visits Kiowa to talk to him about his mother's ghost.
