2017 on Goodreads by Various
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
So... 2017 has been an amazing year in terms of my passion i.e. reading and reviewing books. In my personal life I had my ups and downs but my books have been always my safe heaven.
Thank you books!
I have read 502 books, which are almost as many as I read in 2016. Most of these books have been from my favourite writers, but a lot of them are by writers that I have discovered this year. All of them have added different perspectives in the way that I see and deal with things.
Thank you authors!
The end of the year found me with 435 friends in goodreads. They are almost double in numbers in comparison to the end of 2016. I am really careful with the people that I befriend and I am really happy with my friends so far in this platform.
I share common taste with most of you in books. And if we disagree in specific books, we always do it in a civilized manner and for specific reasons and without bitterness.
Thank you for your likes and comments!
Thank you friends!
The end of the year found me also with 212 followers in goodreads. They are almost double in numbers in comparison to the end of 2016. The followers do not comment much, but a lot of them offer likes which is really encouraging.
Thank you followers!
This year I have also started a blog: https://romanceresearchanalysis.blogs...
I have lots of fun with it, but I am not really sure that I do it correctly. I am totally amateur and I am afraid that at some point somebody may shout at me "Hey, you are doing it completely wrong!"
But I honestly won't mind hahahah
I have also connected my twitter to my blog: @SophiaTriad.
If you have twitter accounts, I would love to be connected to you. I tried to connect to as many as possibly from my goodreads' friends.
Let's go back to the books. I tried again to give my 40 favourite books for 2017. 20 normal stories and 20 stories that include paranormal elements. But you will notice that the numbers have increased...sorry.. I loved all these 50 books LOL
Once more I have read awesome books which were also published in previous years, but I will only include books from 2017 in this list.
The choice was hard, because I loved more than 1-2 books by the same author. Some of my favourite writers write faster than I can read hahaha
Anyway, here it goes:
PARANORMAL STORIES

KIND OF NORMAL STORIES

My favorite book of the year was definitely:
The Ghostwriter by Alessandra Torre
and my second favorite was:
King's Captive by Amber A. Bardan.
As you can notice I love anything with a good twist ;)
