King (King #1) by T.M. Frazier

SUMMARY

Homeless. Hungry. Desperate.

Doe has no memories of who she is or where she comes from.

A notorious career criminal just released from prison, King is someone you don’t want to cross unless you’re prepared to pay him back in blood, sweat, pu$$y or a combination of all three.

King’s future hangs in the balance. Doe’s is written in her past. When they come crashing together, they will have to learn that sometimes in order to hold on, you have to first let go.

MY REVIEW

I wanted to read this series for some time now, as it is highly recommended and it has great reviews. I wanted to see what all this fuss was about. I was not disappointed. I am glad I have discovered a new favourite author.

HER: Daw, a young girl suffering from memory loss, no memories, no name, kind but usually talks before she thinks, lost, hungry, lives in the streets, confused, desperate, looking for a protector.

HIM: The King, the ultimate bad guy with the biggest heart, a criminal, grew up with an alcoholic mother, sells drugs, a tatoo artist, kills without hesitation, has many secrets.

THEIR GETTING TOGETHER: Rocky start, Hottness and full sexual tension as the story continues with epic proportion passion. An unbearable burning between them. The phrase "you are mine!" is constantly repeated.

The shoking reveals and the plot twists keep coming until the last page. And there is this amazing cliffhanger...
